Carley Whitt is a TV writer, originally from Blue Springs, Missouri. Most recently, she was a staff writer on the fourth season of Netflix's NEVER HAVE I EVER, after serving as the Showrunner's Assistant for the first three seasons. Carley graduated from USC's School of Cinematic Arts with a BFA in Writing for Screen and Television.

Carley had an idyllic start to life, eating fistfuls of candy in her father's train-themed ice cream shop. Unfortunately, he sold it to open a hair salon. This taught Carley to enjoy the good things while you have them and how to remove a hair splinter.

Now, Carley writes strong female characters who come from eccentric families that never learned to communicate. Her inspiration sparks from a lifetime of wishing everyone around her would go to therapy. They never do.
