Carley Whitt is a TV writer, originally from Blue Springs, Missouri. She was a staff writer on the fourth season of NEVER HAVE I EVER after serving as the Showrunner's Assistant for the first three seasons.

Carley writes strong female characters who come from eccentric families that never learned to communicate. Her inspiration sparks from a lifetime of wishing everyone around her would go to therapy. They never do. Carley graduated USC's School of Cinematic Arts with a BFA in Writing for Screen and Television.

Carley had an idyllic start to life eating fistfulls of candy in her father's Ice Cream shop. Unfortunately he sold it and instead opened a hair salon. This taught Carley to enjoy the good things while you have them and how to remove a hair splinter.
